La Vigie, is a rise stretching from Forest
Side and Nouvelle France, where one gets a panoramic
view of some parts in the island. A monument in the
memory of Georges Antelme, Chairman of the Société
des Chasseurs de l'île Maurice has been unveiled
there on 29th November 1939.
